about cj

CJ is a multidisciplinary artist, poet and author whose work focuses on the realities of his experience as a queer trans person in the US today. He lives and works with the Frog & Cranberry collective, an Ypsilanti-based group practicing radical communal living and mutual aid. He believes all change is rooted in art, and that real human connection can change people. Art can be many things but most of all it can be a catharsis.

He has been featured in the Riverside Arts Center's 2026 YFAC Gallery, and the Dzanc House's 2026 June Queer Show.
